Sorry about last night…errr this mornings post. It was after a long night, with me a little tipsy and worried about ma boy. Plus I was really bummed about my fishnets getting ripped for the stupidest reason at the last minute. Also a little annoyed by our encounter with someone I used to love very much, but he never returned that love. Now apparently he tells it like we were dating back then, but we weren’t. He wouldn’t allow it then.
Now I guess he is writing a new comic with me as one of the main characters. Which I’m certain he only mentioned to try and make Andrew uncomfortable, or maybe it was an attempt to make me fall for him again. The fact of the matter is it won’t happen. So we were sitting in this hot, loud gay bar, Andrew drank a double vodka cranberry in about 10 minutes time, after having already drank two tall whiskey sours and two and a half (my half) vodka lemonades. I don’t think he’d ever admit it, but I think it was because he was uncomfortable. I don’t blame him. I would’ve been uncomfortable if I was him too, then again I was uncomfortable being me in that situation. Mostly from the old friend manhandling me, grabbing both of our heads, followed by rough shaking and punching me…oh yeah and licking my face. Talking about the old times was no good either. He made it easy enough for us to leave though.
In a way, like I said last night, I’m glad it happened. Now I can put all that to rest. On the other hand, I’m sad that it sort of ruined our night.
Last night I had a weird dream. Some people came into our house, saying they were from the government, to document all of the things we own. I got a weird feeling about them, that they weren’t really and that they were planning on coming to steal all of our things. So I kept trying to take photo’s of them and I wrote down their license plate number. But then my camera broke. I button wouldn’t work.
That was all that happened that I could remember.

So onto talk about my new job! I’m so excited about it. I work at an oriental/navajo rug restoration place. All the people I work with seem very nice, cool and chill. I’m learning new things every day. (Plus, I learned how to repair a broken warp on a rug and it gave me a new skill in which I’m certain I can fix Andrew’s sweater that is unraveling.) So I hand sew all day long, it’s so relaxing. Thursday was my first day and one of the women that works there brought in enchilada’s to share and another one brought in a loaf of bread to share. Yesterday (and every friday) we get free bagels in the morning and every time someone has a birthday they get a cake of their choosing. So we had a pretty good cake yesterday from a little French bakery. It had a bit too much coffee taste to it for my liking, but the cake part was nice and fluffy.
There’s a little kitchen area for us to fix food (great for me saving money on food!) Oh and because we take 1/2 hour lunches I get an automatic 2 & 1/2 hours of overtime pay every week. There’s an insurance plan (yess!!) Also, a retirement plan, which the owner matches what you put into it! The best part is I will eventually get to learn how to spin and dye yarn! Time flies by when I’m working. I’m still adjusting to getting up early, but I think it is helping Andrew too, since we go to bed earlier. He seems more well rested.
I miss him. I can’t wait until tomorrow when we can spend the day together.
One more thing I am excited about is Juno coming out on dvd! YAY!

Hey, you got a new job! It sounds like an awesome gig- can’t wait to hear more about it.
I hope you and Andrew can come this Saturday for the Fight Club viewing.
Peace out.
